I think this book is going to be great.I have been on a diet for about a year now and lost almost 5 stones.I would however love it if you could write something on how to avoid binge eating and temptation as a lifestyle .Thanks

  5. I would love to win as to learn the clean eating way, I have asked so many times how to do this, get a before and after picture on the face where black wemon do workout. since I read the page in December I have worked out each day since. have not lost any weight so i would like to know where I am going wrong, hope the book will help me.

    • Hi Juanita,
If you have been working out and seeing no progress I would suggest journaling every thing you eat and your exercises as well for a whole week. I am pretty sure you will see where you go wrong. When we eat without tracking we tend to under estimate how much we eat. Small food doesn’t necessarily mean low in fat and calories.

      Hope that helped

  6. Hi Webly,

Congrats on the Blog!!! I love the “Inspiration” section. I agree with Deola, I would love to read more on how to avoid binge eating especially when emotions are running high… I crumble to comfort food.

    Thank u

  7. I would like to see clean eating recipes that use ingredients I have on hand!!! Recipes that are quick and easy are also helpful!!! thanks!!

    • Leah,
Great point and I will think of easy to find ingredients, on a budget, to make some quick recipes. I made a Zucchini salad today I think will fit great in this category and will post it as my next SimpleChef recipe.

      Thx and spread the love.

  8. McDonalds and What is actually healthy at Mcdonalds. Also talk about Mcdonalds customers will always keep McDonalds number 1

    • Temicka,
After watching super size me and food inc. I just don’t do McDonalds. The problem is that I think even if you go in there to order a salad, the temptation is much too big and I am sure you will leave with more than just the salad. Besides you can get more creative with making your own salads and save money.

Thx for your comment and spread the love.

  9. I would like to see you blog about workouts that target certain body parts and if possible do some videos yourself showing how its done etc ..

Special question and answers night : once a week or once a month might be more realistic as you maybe busy with your real life : where you can answer some questions give advice 🙂 Good Luck everyone 😀 ..

  10. I would like to see the issue addressed: People of color and generationally dysfunctional eating habits. i.e. why we must have fried chicken, fat back and loads of carbs…

  11. I would love to have this book so that I can implement this with my lifestyle change. That way I can prepare a healthier selection of meals for my family and gradually achieve my weight loss goal.

  12. I would like you to post tips on weight traning and building muscle. Because we all know most women avoid lifting weights for the myth of becoming bulky. Post the benefits of weight training for women.

    • Jovani,
Yes unfortunately despite all the benefits of weight lifting for women, a lot of people are stuck with the old image of women takin steroids and looking like man. The new look for weight lifting is very feminine with additional health benefits. I will certainly write about it.

      Thx and spread the love.

🙂 Along with all of the other great suggestions, reading/ learning on how to overcome social pressure from famil, friends, and coworkers to continue unhealthy habits. Also, how to change your thinking about yourself and seeing yourself as the “new” you instead of the unhealthy you… If that makes any sense. Lol 🙂

    Hi Webly!
You should know how AWESOME I think you are :o) But, I would love to know how to increase weight loss for those of us who struggle with thyroid issues. Not sure if you have anything to share concerning this particular issue but I have been struggling with my weight since I had part of my thyroid removed in 2007. All doctors can tell me, concerning losing weight, is that “It’s going to be hard.” Duh!!! :O) They (doctors) struggle to get my medication right (the dosage has been changed over 15 times since 2007) and, needless to say, this effects my metabolism. So, any help/resource/advice you have for people in my predicament would greatly be appreciated!

    • Hi Monique,
So sorry about your thyroid issue. I would look into THE specialist in this area and see if they have some kind of journal they publish for more information. Have you considered support groups online. Maybe someone out there facing the same problem has a referral or found a solution.
I will do some research and get back to you. I am not a doctor but if I where in your shoes I would try to find the best doctor in the field, email him/her or even get a referral from them.

I will get back to you.

      Thx and spread the love

  15. I would like to read about eating healthy on a budget. Oh, slow cooker recipes are also great!

    • Hi Pam,
Thank you for your comment. I will include in the future healthy recipes on a budget and slow cooker ones. I don’t use my slow cooker that much but I will see what I can put together.

      Thx and spread the love.

  16. Would be most interested in this book. Thanks for the wonderful giveaway
